25 Days, the fight of her life for Blood Cancer UK
Following her diagnosis with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia and the death of his sister Helen, last September/October, Jeff Farnes, one of our regular helpers, has just completed 24 half marathons over 24 days and was welcomed back home by bagpipes at the end of his final run on the anniversary of her death.
During the course of his challenge Jeff has raised £2020 for Blood Cancer UK and a further £2660 for Macmillan Cancer Support and he is continuing his fundraising effort by running the Great South Run on Sunday 18th October. Please read Helen’s story and donate if possible.
